Welcome to my blog!

I set up this journal to share interior design, sourcing notes, and honest advice for simple, considered living at home — always with a focus on natural materials, muted colours, layered light, and rooms that look genuinely lived in.

About my work

I trained as a textile designer before turning to writing about interiors full time. The work here is rigorous and opinionated — we test paint colours across a full day's light, source rugs from direct importers, and recommend the things we actually live with.

Every article is held to one standard: would this help a real person make a real room warmer? If it doesn't, it doesn't run. No trend pieces about colours we don't like, no affiliate-driven round-ups, no advice we wouldn't take ourselves.
